Evaluating the Effect of Digital Literacy, Interoperability Capability, Cybersecurity Awareness, Change Fatigue, and Organizational Agility on Smart Hospital Implementation Success

This study aims to analyze the influence of Digital Literacy, Interoperability Capability, Cybersecurity Awareness, Change Fatigue, and Organizational Agility on Smart Hospital Implementation Success. This study employed a quantitative approach using Structural Equation Modeling based on Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 200 medical personnel working in hospitals. The analysis was conducted to evaluate the relationships between the proposed variables and Smart Hospital Implementation Success. The findings reveal that Organizational Agility and Cybersecurity Awareness have a positive and significant effect on Smart Hospital Implementation Success. Organizational Agility emerged as the most influential factor in supporting successful smart hospital implementation. Meanwhile, Digital Literacy showed a significant negative effect, indicating that digital competencies alone are insufficient without adequate organizational readiness and system support. Interoperability Capability did not significantly affect Smart Hospital Implementation Success, suggesting that integration and standardization challenges still exist in healthcare systems. Furthermore, Change Fatigue demonstrated a negative but insignificant influence on smart hospital implementation. The IPMA results also confirmed that Organizational Agility is the highest priority factor that should be strengthened by hospital management. The study concludes that the success of smart hospital implementation is influenced not only by technological aspects but also by organizational adaptability, cybersecurity awareness, and effective change management. Hospitals need to prioritize organizational agility and cybersecurity readiness to ensure sustainable digital transformation in healthcare services.
